Carmen le Grange excited to be implementing a turnaround strategy at Denel

The group CFO looks forward to contributing her skills to the public sector and strengthening the SOC.

Carmen le Grange, who has been appointed as the new Group CFO of Denel, says she is very excited about the opportunity to be part of the Denel leadership team “during this time that it is making strides in the implementation of the turnaround strategy with the vision of returning it to a high-performing and financially sustainable state-owned company”. 

According to a statement Denel released announcing her appointment, Carmen will oversee the financial affairs of the group, play a critical role in improving audit results, financial systems and capability.

Carmen said: 

“I am especially looking forward to contributing my skills and talents to the public sector in this time when the emphasis is on strengthening SOCs.”

Carmen explained that her aim is to “assist in building a highly credible finance function and team, one that can be an example of how we rebuild trust in the accounting profession and contribute to our country’s development”.
