Lee joins Chrometco from the Sail Group, where he served the director of new business development.
JSE-listed copper ore company Chrometco has announced the appointment of Lee McCann as its new CEO with immediate effect.
According to a statement by the Chromteco board, Lee served as the director of new business development at Sail Group before his appointment. He joined the Sail Group in early 2014 as head of trading, where he was soon appointed as a director.
Prior to joining Sail Group, he spent over six years as a market analyst managing a wide range of marketing processes and projects at Xstrata.
He has an MBA from the Heriot-Watt University, as well as a B.Com honours in business management from UNISA.
