CIG’s Raoul Gamsu assumes dual CEO and CFO role

Raoul adds the CFO role to his role as CEO following the resignation of Cristina Teixeira.

Consolidated Infrastructure Group (CIG) has announced that Raoul Gamsu will be assuming the dual role of CEO and CFO of the company with immediate effect.

This follows the resignation of CFO Cristina Teixeira in October 2020.

The company announced in November 2020 that it had commenced voluntary business rescue proceedings and that it applied for a voluntary suspension of trading in CIG shares. The JSE approved the request.

Subsequently, CIG has commenced preparation of a business rescue plan suggested by its business rescue practitioners.

Raoul will serve in his dual role until the new business rescue plan is in place.
