City Lodge Hotels CFO Alastair Dooley tenders resignation

Alastair, who has been with the company for 10 years, will be emigrating to Australia.

City Lodge Hotels have announced the resignation of its CFO Alastair Dooley with effect from 31 January 2020. Alastair will be emigrating to Australia. 

In a statement, City Lodge expressed its appreciation to Alastair for his commitment and valued contribution to the company over the past 10 years and wished him every success in his future endeavours in Australia.

Alastair took over from Andrew Widegger, who was appointed as the company’s CEO, in June 2018 after serving as the group’s divisional director of finance since 2009. 

Prior to joining City Lodge Hotels, Alastair was the deputy chairman and director for Tourism Marketing Levy South Africa. Before that, he was also a member of the board of advisors at the South African Graduate Employer’s Association. He has also served as a senior manager at KPMG.
