Adcorp's new CEO Phil Roux will have oversight of the finance team as CJ steps down as CFO.

Adcorp Holdings has announced the resignation of Cheryl-Jane (CJ) Kujenga as its CFO and from the board with effect from 31 May.

CJ says that she has spent the past few weeks handing over to the new CEO. "I have increasingly felt that this was the most opportune time to take a sabbatical whilst I rejuvenate and explore other opportunities."

In a statement, the group thanked CJ, who is also a 2020 CFO Awards nominee, for her “invaluable contribution and commitment to the group, not only as CFO, but so too in her recent role as interim CEO”.

The group said that it has commenced the search for a permanent CFO with suitable experience. In the interim, Adcorp’s new CEO Phil Roux will have oversight of the finance team to ensure continued focus on the finance function within the group.
