CFO Sherylee Moonsamy has been nominated for the 2025 CFO Awards

Sherylee Moonsamy is the chief financial officer of the Competition Tribunal. Prior to this she was the CFO of the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) since March 2018.

She started her career as a senior auditor while serving her articles at HLB Barnett Chown before joining the JDA in 2009 as an accountant. In 2012 she was promoted to finance manager. In 2018 she was officially appointed as the JDA’s CFO after maintaining the role in an acting capacity for two years. She then went on to join the Competition Tribunal as their CFO in 2022.

The 2025 CFO Awards, which recognises exceptional financial leadership and performance, will take place on 11 November at the prestigious Polo Room in Sandton.
