Kobus will serve as both COO and CEO, as the roles have been consolidated within CSG.

CSG Holdings has announced the appointment of its COO Kobus Nieuwoudt as its new CEO, with effect from 1 April.

Kobus takes over from Pieter Dry, who will be stepping down as CEO on 31 March to spend more time with his family and focus on new business ventures.

Pieter has been focusing on consolidating the position of CEO and COO into one position for the last two years, which has now been successfully completed. He has agreed to stay on as a consultant to CSG for a period after his resignation in order to ensure that the last portion of his roles and responsibilities is handed over smoothly to Kobus, to ensure a seamless transition.

Kobus has been with the group since 2007 and has served as COO since 2013.
