Delta Property Fund appoints Marelise de Lange as interim CFO

Marelise will be taking over from CFO Shaneel Maharaj as interim CFO with immediate effect.

Delta Property Fund has announced the appointment of independent non-executive director Marelise de Lange as interim CFO following the resignation of CFO Shaneel Maharaj with immediate effect. 

Marelise, a qualified CA(SA), currently serves as the CEO and founder of tertiary choices gateway UCANDO. Prior to this, she served as the CFO of Rebosis Property Fund from 2017 until 2018. She has also served as the FD of Texton Property Fund.

She holds a B.Com honours accounting degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a B.Com law degree from University of Johannesburg. 

In a statement, the company said that, due to Marelise’s extensive experience, the board has full confidence that she is best placed to ensure that Delta will continue to operate without any disruptions in its day-to-day operations. 

Delta has also appointed non-executive director Bongi Masinga as acting CEO, as CEO Sandile Nomvete has also resigned with immediate effect.
