Diarmuid has stepped down from the CFO role following the birth of his first child, and will return in 2023.

Following the birth of his first child, Sirius Real Estate CFO Diarmuid Kelly will be taking 12 months’ paternity leave from 22 September. He intends to return to his role within Sirius Facilities as group FD in September 2023, leaving his role as CFO.

Diarmuid was appointed as CFO in February and took over from Alistair Marks, who was then appointed as the company’s chief investment officer.

Alistair has agreed to step in as interim CFO while Sirius searches for a new CFO.

CEO Andrew Coombs congratulated Diarmuid on the birth of his first child and wished him all the best over the next 12 months. “I would also like to thank Alistair for stepping back into the CFO role, for which he has 15 years’ experience, which is testimony to Sirius’s breadth and depth of senior management experience.”
