Dries Ferreira appointed CFO and executive director at KAP

Former Astral Foods group FM Dries Ferreira has taken up two new roles at KAP, bringing with him extensive executive experience and an entrepreneurial background.

Dries Ferreira has joined KAP, taking up the role of chief financial officer and executive director.

Prior to this move, Dries served as the group FM for Astral Foods.

With more than 13 years of corporate leadership experience across the logistics, manufacturing, services, and property sectors, his career includes a stint as an entrepreneur.

In 2016, he founded WellCapital, serving as its chief executive officer and executive director.

His earlier executive roles include serving as the CFO of Newpark REIT and Distribution and Warehousing Network. Dries also gained experience as a factory controller at Astrapak, having started his career as a trainee at PwC.

Dries is a qualified CA(SA) and holds a BCom honours from Nelson Mandela University

He also completed the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
