PSG Group investment executive Dries Mellet has been appointed as the new financial director of Zeder, replacing Johann le Roux, who stepped down on 28 February.
Zeder Investments has announced the appointment of Dries Mellet as financial director with effect from 1 March. He replaces Johann le Roux, who will step down from the role on 28 February and remain on the board as a non-executive director.
Dries is a chartered accountant (SA) and serves as director and investment executive at PSG Group, a role he has held since January 2023.
He has also been an investment executive at PSG Alpha since September 2012.
Dries also held several non-executive directorships, including at Stadio and Optimi Learning, and was previously a non-executive director at Alaris and ITSI, among others.
Earlier in his career, he served as group COO of Alaris (previously Poynting), as well as financial director of Capevin and mCubed. He began his career as a trainee auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining PSG Group in 2010.
