Efora Energy has announced the resignation of Damain Matroos as its CEO and director. Damain will continue to serve his three months’ notice period as CEO until 4 May.

Damain has over 20 years’ experience in corporate finance both in the United Kingdom and more recently in South Africa. He was appointed as Efora’s CEO in February 2015 and joined the oil and gas company from Sasol, where he held the position of vice president of corporate finance.

The company thanked Damain for his contributions to the company over the years and wished him well in his future endeavours. Efora has commenced the process of identifying a suitable replacement.
