Lindani Sidaki will start in his new role at the beginning of December.
Lindani (Mpume) Mpumelelo Sidaki will be taking over the executive finance director position at Sable Exploration and Mining from 1 December 2024.
His previous role was at uShaka Marine World, where he was the acting CFO from September 2023 to March 2024. Before that, Lindani served as the acting CFO of the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism Authority from 2018 to 2022.
Lindani is a chartered accountant with vast experience in the coal mining industry, having established financial systems and processes for the acquisition and merging of numerous coal mines, as well as in the assessment of mining assets.
From 2015 to 2017, Lindani was the CFO of Horizon Chrome Mine, where he oversaw the mine’s transition from care and maintenance to full operation, reporting directly to the CEO, directors and shareholders.
Lindani has a BCom in accounting from the University of Witwatersrand and a honours degree in accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
