Gugulethu Mayisela has joined DP World as finance executive

Gugulethu was previously the CFO for Sonae Arauco, where she was the finance head for almost three years.

She joins DP World as vice president, finance: healthcare, SSA. DP World is a leading multi-national logistics company, based in Dubai.

“I am thrilled to join the team at DP World. Being part of a global business that is facilitating the need for quality healthcare on the African continent is a dream come true,” she told CFO South Africa.

“I am looking forward to bringing my experience from a broad range of industries to this environment. I believe my passion for business partnering, strategy and governance will create value as we pursue ambitious growth targets over the next three years,” she adds.

She has also been a non-executive director for Bituguard, a board member of the African Women Chartered Accountants Forum, as well as an ethics committee member for SAICA.

Gugulethu holds a PGDM, enterprise management and BCom financial accounting from UCT, as well as a BCom honours, financial accounting, from the University of South Africa.
