Guy Moretti resigns as Ellies Electronics CFO

After two years in the role, Guy Moretti has stepped down as the CFO of Ellies Electronics, with immediate effect.

Ellies Electronics has announced that Guy Moretti has resigned as the company’s CFO, with effect from 8 March, to pursue other opportunities.

Guy joined Ellies in 2020 as a group financial manager. He was promoted to CFO in 2022.

Before this, he worked at Taste Holdings, holding the finance executive, supply chain executive and group financial manager roles, respectively. He previously held the CFO role at Tower Capital Management for two years, and Sovereignty Capital for three years.

Guy started his career as a trainee at Mazars South Africa, and later moved to African Bank where he worked as a group accountant. He later went on to serve as a financial manager for companies like Nando’s South Africa, Masazane Capital Holdings, and RAM Hand to Hand Couriers.

The company also announced the resignation of Darren Kramer as an independent non-executive director.
