Prior to AIG, James served as a partner at EY from 2006. He started his career at PwC, where he qualified as a chartered accountant in 2001.

Hammerson chair David Tyler said:

“We look forward to welcoming James to the business. During his career, he has demonstrated significant success in working with and managing complex organisations which are experiencing periods of substantial change. We expect his track record in this area, combined with his ability to bring a fresh perspective, to be very valuable to the ongoing management and performance of Hammerson.”
