Himanshu will be taking over from James Lenton as Hammerson’s new CFO.
Hammerson has announced the appointment of Himanshu Raja as its new CFO. He will be taking over from James Lenton, who gave notice of his resignation in January.

About his appointment, Himanshu said:
“I am excited to be joining Hammerson during this period of unprecedented change in the sector and look forward to supporting Rita-Rose Gagné [Hammerson’s CEO] as she leads on the strategic review of the business to create value going forward.”
Himanshu holds a law degree, is a qualified CA, and was most recently CFO at Countrywide until its sale to Connells in March. Prior to that he served as the CFO at G4S, Misys and Logica.
Rita-Rose said that Himanshu brings a blend of strong financial, strategic and leadership qualities. “On behalf of the board and all colleagues I look forward to welcoming him to the company and benefiting from his insight and experience.”
