Hyprop Investments names CFO Brett Till as new debt officer

Brett Till’s appointment as the Hyprop debt officer is in line with new JSE-listing requirements.

Specialised shopping centre REIT Hyprop Investments has announced the appointment of its CFO, Brett Till, as the company’s new debt officer.

The appointment follows the Johannesburg Stock Exchange passing a new listing requirement that companies listed on the exchange should have a debt officer.

The company said in a statement that it has considered and is satisfied with Brett’s competence, qualifications and experience.

Brett is a qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience in the finance industry. He started his career at Fisher Hoffman Stride before joining Rebhold in 1998 as a financial executive. He was then appointed as the group CFO in 1999, which position he held until 2007.

Brett joined Mentor Africa in 2007 as the CFO, where he had various financial and corporate finance responsibilities. In 2018 he joined Hyprop Investments as CFO.
