Jasco Electronics appoints new CEO and CFO

Warren Prinsloo has been promoted to CEO and Liska Prigge will take his place as CFO.

Jasco Electronics has announced the appointment of its CFO Warren Prinsloo as the company’s new CEO with effect from 1 March. Liska Prigge, a former divisional FD within Jasco ICT-Enterprise, will take over from Warren as CFO.

Warren has been the CFO of Jasco for 15 years and will replace interim CEO Pete da Silva, who will resume his role as alternative non-executive director to the deputy chairman. Warren is also currently filling the role of company secretary until a permanent appointment has been made.

Warren began his career as an assistant manager at EY in 1999, and has also worked as group accountant at Northern Engineering Industries in 2000. In late 2000 he made a move to the Massmart group, a South African-based group of wholesale and retail chains, where he fulfilled a variety of senior financial management positions. After six years at Massmart, the opportunity arose to join the board of Jasco. Warren took up the position of CFO in 2006.
