John's priority as CFO is to help the company achieve its goals to drive further shareholder value.
JSE listed MiX Telematics has announced the appointment of John Granara as its new CFO and executive vice president as of 8 July.
John has taken over from Paul Dell, who has filled the role of interim CFO since early 2017. Paul will continue at MiX Telematics in an alternative senior role.
About his appointment, John said:

According to the statement, John is a seasoned finance executive with over 20 years’ experience in both public and privately held corporations.
Most recently, John held the position of CFO at Ameresco, where he held oversight of all corporate financial accounting, financial analysis, planning, M&A, internal audit, tax, treasury, investor relations and structured finance. Prior to that, he was the vice president of finance and CAO at GT Advanced Technologies.
John holds a B.S.B.A from Suffolk University in Boston, and is a certified public accountant.
