John-Ross Thando is Compensation Fund's new CFO

Compensation Fund has appointed John-Ross Thando as their new CFO with effect from August.

John-Ross Thando has been with Compensation Fund since 2016. He was appointed as project manager upon joining and was promoted to chief operations officer in March 2018. 

After five months of serving as COO, he has been promoted to chief financial officer, and he is now responsible for reporting, investments, cash management and SCM, among others. 

Prior to joining the Compensation Fund, John served as operations and finance manager at Imperial Automotive, assistant manager at Auditor General of SA and financial consultant at Snijder & Associates Accounting Services. He also completed his articles with Snijder & Associates Inc. 

John has an honours degree in accounting sciences, finance and financial management services from UNISA, as well as a B.Com degree in accounting and finance from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University
