Head of BCX Ian Russell has announced his resignation, effective end July 2018.
Ian Russell, CEO of ICT services company BCX, has resigned from his role and is expected to leave the organisation by August this year. Jonas Bogoshi has been appointed as Russell’s replacement as BCX CEO. Bogoshi has worked for tech giants including T-Systems, SITA, Cisco and IBM South Africa, and is also the former CEO of Gijima.
Russell's resignation is the third from senior Telkom executives in recent month, as Attila Vitai, former head of consumer, and Len de Villiers, group CIO, recently announced their own resignations.
Russell will be staying on at BCX for several months to ensure a seamless handover, and says that the past 12 months have left BCX in a position for strong future growth.
