The property group has appointed Jonathan Bigham as the successor to exiting CFO Jonathan Weltman.

Balwin Properties has announced that it will be trading one Jonathan for another as the CFO of the organisation. The group has appointed Jonathan Bigham as its new CFO, in line with the company’s succession planning. He will be taking over from Jonathan Weltman, who has resigned as CFO because of “health reasons”.

Jonathan will step into the role of CFO in April, and has also been appointed as a member of the social, ethics and transformation committee.

“It is with gratitude and sadness that I’m stepping down from Balwin,” says Jonathan (Weltman). “I am however, immensenly proud of what we have achieved over the past decade.”

The incoming CFO joined Balwin in 2018 as the group finance manager and has worked closely with exiting Jonathan on the finance and administration functions of the group.

Prior to joining Balwin, Jonathan (Bigham) completed his articles at Deloitte. He subsequently worked for Capital Property Fund in the capacity of financial manager and company secretary before rejoining Deloitte as a senior manager.
