JSE CFO Aarti Takoordeen a Young Global Leader

Aarti Takoordeen, CFO of the JSE, has been selected as a Young Global Leader (YGL), class of 2017; an honour bestowed by the World Economic Forum (WEF) each year in recognition of the world’s most distinguished leaders under the age of 40.

Aarti will become an active member of the Forum of YGLs for a period of five years. During her time as a as a YGL, she hopes to make South Africa a better place. Economic redistribution and growth, poverty alleviation and education are the impact themes she has chosen to explore during her tenure.

Aarti believes this is a great initiative that can inspire current and future CFOs to, over and above their day jobs, participate in global communities working together to set common goals and drive collective impact to improve the world.
