Malander Advisory group chief financial officer and head of advisory Shaveera John has been nominated for the 2026 CFO Awards. A qualified chartered accountant, she has a background in finance, audit and accounting and has supported CFOs of large, listed and fast-growing clients.
Shaveera John is a qualified chartered accountant and serves as group chief financial officer and head of advisory at Malander Advisory. She has a background in finance, audit and accounting with experience supporting CFOs of large, listed and fast-growing clients, including through international engagements. She previously completed her articles at Deloitte.
Shaveera holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours from the University of South Africa.
Dubbed the “Oscars of Finance”, the CFO Awards continue to celebrate leaders who raise the bar for people leadership in South Africa across listed companies, large corporations and government institutions.
The 2026 nominees will be celebrated at a gala event on 26 November, where winners across multiple categories, including the CFO of the Year title, will be announced.
