Mary-Anne Musekiwa joins Orbis Investments

Mary-Anne Musekiwa has taken up a new CFO role at Orbis Investments after serving seven years at Coronation Fund.

Mary-Anne Musekiwa has joined Orbis Investments, having officially stepped into her new role two months ago. She has also taken up duties at the Orbis Foundation.

Prior to this move, Mary-Anne gained extensive experience since joining Coronation Fund in 2019. Prior to becoming CFO, she was the deputy CFO at Coronation and held roles such as CFO of projects at DirectAxis, group head of reporting at BancABC, and group finance manager at Howden Africa.

Her earlier career includes time as an IFRS technical and business solutions manager and technical advisor at Standard Bank, having started out completing her articles and working as an audit manager at Deloitte. Mary-Anne is a qualified CA(SA) and holds a BCom from the University of Cape Town.

Narissa Delport is a seasoned journalist with experience across platforms. She cut her teeth in 24-hour newsrooms like eNCA and EWN, covering a wide range of stories, some of which included gritty investigative work. She's also worked as the deputy digital news editor at The Citizen Online. She is currently a second language English instructor, and is pursuing studies in cybersecurity.

Anchor Capital Group FD Omair Khan secures nomination for the 2026 CFO Awards

Anchor Capital Group FD Omair Khan has secured a nomination for the 2026 CFO Awards. A Chartered Accountant (SA), he joined Anchor as group financial manager in 2014 and was appointed CFO in June 2016. He holds a BAcc degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
