Microsoft and Sasfin Bank endorse CFO South Africa

post-title

CFO South Africa's founder and director Alex van Groningen paid visits to the Johannesburg offices of Microsoft and Sasfin Bank on Friday. He had great conversations with Mteto Nyati, Managing Director for Microsoft South Africa, and Tyrone Soondarjee, Financial Director at Sasfin Bank. While the full interviews with both inspiring gentlemen will be published at a later stage, it was heart-warming to note the support they expressed for CFO South Africa, which has become the leading network organisation for top finance professionals in the country.

Nyati said that "driven by circumstances", like a lack of talent in the South African job market, South African CFOs have a tremendous breadth and depth of knowledge and experience. That has given them a very good reputation internationally. He is excited about the networking opportunities CFO South Africa offers and fully endorsed the initiative. "This is really what was required for CFOs," he said. Sasfin's Soondarjee echoed those sentiments, saying he would "recommend all CFOs to join the organisation and visit its events".
