post-title

Sygnia has announced the appointment of new FD Murad Sirkot following Michael Buckham's resignation.

The announcement came shortly after Sygnia announced the resignation of Mike Buckham from the role. Mike decided to leave this position to focus on family and personal opportunities in a less formal environment.

Murad Sirkot will be taking over from Michael with effect from 16 January 2019. He will be the new righthand man of the indomitable Sygnia CEO Magda Wierzycka.

Prior to his role as FD, Murad was the global head of financial reporting, accounting, revenue and accounts at Investec Asset Management for 12 years, where he led finance teams in Cape Town, London and Hong Kong.

In the release announcing Murad’s appointment, Sygnia’s board wished him well in his new position.
