Nick Dunnett of Robert Walters: "CFOs crucial for recruitment"

CFOs play a vital role in the hiring of new people, according to Nick Dunnett, Managing Director of recruitment firm Robert Walters in South Africa. "CFOs and their departments need to invest time in the recruitment of new financial professionals and not leave it to the Human Resources department," Dunnett said during a breakfast meeting with CFO South Africa. According to managing director, who recently moved from London to Johannesburg, the effort will quickly show in the results of the company.

Robert Walters is one of the world's leading specialist professional recruitment consultancies with 53 offices spanning 24 countries. The office in Johannesburg services sub-Saharan Africa and has doubled to 46 people in the last 12 months. "While the situation in London is pretty brutal at the moment, it is all about growth in South Africa and the rest of the continent."
