Niki Giles, who has acted in the role before, will succeed former Sygnia FD Murad Sirkot.
Sygnia has announced that Niki Giles has taken up the role of financial director. This comes after Carmen le Grange, who Sygnia had identified as the successor to former CFO Murad Sirkot, was unable to assume the position due to “personal reasons”.
Niki previously served as the company’s acting FD from 2015 until 2017, after which she served as COO until 2018. Her appointment, in addition to Magda Wierzycka stepping back into the CEO role following the sudden resignation of David Hufton, sees Sygnia return to its old leadership.
After leaving Sygnia and taking a sabbatical in 2018, Niki served as the head of investor services and products at Prescient from 2019 to 2021. She most recently served as Prescient’s head of governance, risk and compliance, before returning to Sygnia.
