Keshree Alwar, who has been serving as CFO-designate, will be taking over from exiting CFO Harry Todd.
Novus Holdings has announced the appointment of Keshree Alwar as its new CFO with effect from 1 September.
Keshree has been serving as the group’s CFO-designate following the resignation of current CFO, Harry Todd. Harry will remain with the group until 31 December 2021 to ensure a seamless transition, and focus on strategic projects.
The appointment will see Keshree step down from her role as company secretary.
Prior to joining Novus as its group financial manager in 2016, Keshree served as a senior audit manager at PwC South Africa. Before that, she was a senior associate for PwC’s Chicago and Columbus branches respectively.
She is a qualified CA, with a BCom degree in accounting from the University of Cape Town and an honours degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Novus thanked Harry for his “valuable contribution and commitment” during the past three years and for “providing the mentorship and guidance to Keshree to adequately prepare her for her intended new role”.
