Novus Holdings appoints Kim Julies as group CFO

Novus Holdings has announced the appointment of Kim Julies as its new group chief financial officer and executive director.

Novus Holdings has appointed Kim Julies as the group chief financial officer and executive director, with effect from 1 January 2026.

She will be replacing Craig Wright who resigns as the chief financial officer, with effect from 31 December 2025. Craig will remain within the group and support the company’s ongoing growth.

Kim is a qualified chartered accountant and has been with the group since 2017. She
currently holds the position of group financial manager and serves on the company’s board as an alternate director to Craig.

Sinenhlanhla Mncwango is the senior writer for CFO South Africa. She grew up in Vryheid, northern KZN; studied journalism at the University of Johannesburg and obtained her honours in 2020. Sinenhlanhla has experience in online and broadcast media. In her spare time she enjoys a good game of cricket, hockey and loves learning different languages.

Studio 88 group CFO Wiets Wiehahn secures nomination for the 2026 CFO Awards

Wiets Wiehahn, director of finance at the Studio 88 Group, has been nominated for the 2026 CFO Awards. He has held his current position since 2011 and previously worked at RMB Commodities and FirstRand Bank, where he completed his articles and qualified as a chartered accountant.
