Sebata Holdings has appointed Pierre van Eeden as their new FD, replacing Cornelia Kemp.

Pierre van Eeden has been the financial director at Sebata Holdings (previously known as MICROmega Holdings Limited) as of 1 November. He has taken over from Cornelia Kemp, who resigned on 31 October to take a personal break.

In a press release, Sebata welcomed Pierre and said that they look forward to his contribution to the company. They also thanked Cornelia for her dedication, hard work and commitment over the past few years and wished her well in the future.

Pierre said he is very excited about the implementation of Sebata's new operating and financial reporting structure, which is going to provide much greater clarity in their reporting for the market to understand and interpret, as they move from a fragmented individual entity approach to a more streamlined divisional structure, and he is already working on Sebata's interim results.

Pierre qualified as a chartered accountant (SA) in 2014 after completing his articles with EY. He then joined NOSA, where he held the position of financial manager until 2016 and served as the chief financial officer for the Sebata Group of companies until his appointment as FD at Sebata Holdings.
