Senele Mbatha appointed as new Discovery Vitality CFO

Discovery Vitality has appointed former AIG CFO Senele Mbatha as its new CFO from April.

Former American International Group Inc (AIG) CFO Senele Mbatha has joined the Discovery Group as the CFO of Discovery Vitality as of April.

Senele, a chartered accountant, held several senior positions at AIG, the most recent of which was that of CFO. Before that, he was the regulatory controller for Africa, which saw him looking after the full finance function of AIG’s South African, Kenyan and Ugandan business. Before joining AIG, Senele was a senior manager at EY.

Senele has experience in various industries and has worked on projects in several countries across Africa and Europe.
