Sheldon has been nominated for his work as the CFO of Fedgroup.
Sheldon Friedericksen has been nominated for the 2021 CFO Awards in his capacity as the CFO of Fedgroup.
At the annual “Oscars for South African finance professionals”, which is now entering its seventh year, CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions are recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance and leadership.
Sheldon, a qualified CA(SA), holds a B.BusSci degree in accounting and finance, as well as a postgraduate diploma in accountancy from the University of Cape Town.
After completing his articles in 2010, Sheldon was seconded to New York where he served as an audit senior and audit manager for Deloitte. In 2013 he was promoted to senior manager of Deloitte South Africa and returned to South Africa.
Sheldon joined Fedgroup in 2014 as a group financial manager and was promoted to CFO in 2016.
