Sheldon Friedericksen is the founder of Archelon Private Capital. He was previously the chief financial officer of Fedgroup from October 2016 until November 2021. He thereafter took up the position of general manager for Fedgroup's group benefits division.
Sheldon, a qualified CA(SA), holds a B.Bus.Sci degree in accounting and finance, as well as a post graduate diploma in accountancy from the University of Cape Town.
After completing his articles in 2010, Sheldon was seconded to New York where he served as an audit senior and audit manager for Deloitte. In 2013 he was promoted to senior manager of Deloitte South Africa and returned home.
Sheldon joined Fedgroup in 2014 as a group financial manager and was promoted to CFO in 2016.
For his work as the CFO of Fedgroup, Sheldon was nominated for the 2021 CFO Awards and walked away with the Young CFO of the Year Award!
