After only three months as CFO, Khathutshelo Ramukumba has resigned, citing personal reasons.

The South African Post Office has announced the resignation of its CFO, Khathutshelo Ramukumba, for personal reasons.

Khathutshelo was appointed as CFO in October 2020 and had only served as the company’s CFO for three months.

“The board has placed on record its appreciation for the sterling work that Mr Ramukumba was able to do during his tenure as CFO, and has conveyed its gratitude to him,” the company said in a statement.

SAPO has already commenced the process for the recruitment of a permanent CFO. The company is also still in the process of appointing a permanent CEO since Mark Barnes’ departure in August 2019.
