Massmart has appointed seasoned finance executive Tendani Sikhwivhilu as its new vice-president.

Massmart has announced the appointment of Tendani Sikhwivhilu as its new vice-president of Corporate Finance, marking a significant addition to the retail group’s leadership team.

Tendani joins Massmart Corporate Finance from Bidvest Financial Services and Bidvest Bank, where he served as CFO. Before his tenure at Bidvest, he built a robust career at Standard Bank, holding several senior finance roles over the years. These included serving as head of finance for retail and business banking for more than five years.

Earlier in his career at Standard Bank, Tendani also held the role of head of business performance and analytics in retail and business banking, a position he occupied for over four years. His career reflects deep expertise in financial leadership, performance management and strategic banking operations.

Tendani holds a BCom honours from the University of the Witwatersrand, underscoring his strong academic and professional foundation.
