TFG CEO Doug Murray has retired, replaced by the company CFO, Anthony Thunström.
Anthony Thunström (pictured), CFO of The Foschini Group (TFG), has been announced as the new CEO designate of the company, following current CEO Doug Murray’s retirement.
Thunström, a CA, has been the company’s CFO since February 2015. Prior to that he was the COO of KPMG Global Africa Practice, as well as Regional Leader KZN. His preceding role was MD of KPMG KZN.
Murray, who took the helm in 2007, will step down from his role on 3 September, becoming a non-executive director.
TFG has already begun recruiting for a new CFO.
