post-title

David Pfaff has been appointed as COO of Truworths International along with his current role as CFO.

Truworths International has created a chief operating officer (COO) position to boost retail sales growth, which David Pfaff will be taking on, in addition to his duties as CFO.

At 53 years old, David Pfaff has been with Truworths International for more than five years. He has been responsible for finance, tax, internal audit, company secretarial, legal, project office and investor relations, reporting to the CEO, the credit department, risk and analytics, information technology, credit operations and the call centre.

He is a member of the store operations forum, as well as the properties forum and described his function as much more than a chief financial officer’s role, as it is much more commercially and strategically focused.

He now takes on additional responsibilities as COO, including retail store operations.
