Tyme Group CFO David Pfaff promoted to CEO

David will be taking over from Coen Jonker, and will move to the company’s head office in Singapore.

Tyme Group has announced the promotion of its CFO, David Pfaff, to CEO, with effect from 1 July. David will be taking over from Coen Jonker, who has been appointed as TymeBank’s new CEO for South Africa.

In his new role, David will move to Tyme Group’s head office in Singapore, where he assumes responsibility for the group’s international growth strategy.

David joined Tyme Group as its CFO in March 2021 from Truworths, where he served as COO and CFO. He has previously served as the CFO of Datatec, and as a director for companies like Logicalis and Anglo American Industrial Corporation. Before that, he served as a general manager for Fiat and Alfa Romeo at Automakers.
