Welmie Schoeman will be starting a new position as vice president of accounting and control at Vivo Energy.
Welmie Schoeman has commenced her role as vice president of accounting and control at Vivo Energy.
“I was headhunted by Vivo to take on a VP finance role in their Cape Town office. It is an extremely exciting opportunity where I will lead teams across 28 African markets,” Welmie said.
The former BP Southern Africa chief financial officer also shared that under Vivo Energy, she will be trading under the Shell and Engen brands.
Welmie has been the CFO of BP since March 2022, however she has been working in various financial roles within the company for more than 24 years.
