Jubilant will be taking over from exiting Izak van der Walt, who is leaving to pursue other interests.
Wescoal has announced the appointment of Jubilant Speckman acting group CFO following the resignation of Izak van der Walt after three years as group CFO.
Jubilant is a qualified CA(SA) with over 10 years’ experience in the mining industry. She completed her articles at PwC and was appointed as a financial accountant at BHP Billiton in 2011. She was later promoted to reporting analyst before joining Wesizwe Platinum as a financial manager. Before her appointment at Wescoal in October 2018 as senior manager of finance operations, she served as a financial manager for Merafe Resources.
Izak’s resignation comes into effect on 31 August after three years in the role. Izak has been with Wescoal for five years.
