Albrè will be taking over from exiting Norman Janse van Rensburg until a permanent FD has been appointed.
WG Wearne has announced the appointment of Albertus (Albrè) Badenhorst as its interim FD. His appointment follows the resignation of Norman Janse van Rensburg at the beginning of February.
Albrè is a qualified chartered accountant with experience in the financial sector, coupled with extensive senior management experience. He has served as the CFO of Afgri International, as well as the country manager for the group’s Zambia operations. He has also served as the CFO of Finsettle services.
Albrè steps into the new role with immediate effect, until a permanent appointment has been made.
