Whitney will lead the company’s finance team as its new head of finance.
Liberty Life Botswana has announced the appointment of Whitney Kalaote-Moyo as its new head of finance.
Whitney is a seasoned chartered accountant and was the country’s first Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) graduate. “She brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her over a decade experience in both practice and various industries,” the company said in a statement. “She is a well-rounded professional and has over the years provided leadership and management to finance departments, with a tenacity to develop finance departments to effectively support the organisation’s targets.”
She is passionate about accounting and finance, as well as its contribution to the success of any organisation.
Prior to joining Liberty Life Botswana, Whitney served as the head of finance for Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet). Before that, she was an independent consultant for Metropolitan Life Botswana.
She started her career at PwC, where she served as a senior accountant and assistant manager, respectively.
Whitney also has a BCom accounting degree from the Nelson Mandela University.
