The ex-Huge Group CFO will be filling the roles of chief financial and commercial officer.
Huge Group announced in a press release that its CFO and director Zunaid Bulbulia has resigned from the company, as well as the director of its subsidiary companies.
In the statement, the company said that it has however entered into a consulting arrangement with Zunaid for the provision of services as they need the services of a dedicated and Full Time CFO. The various other ventures he is involved in, still required his daily input.
Zunaid will be joining Mobile Outsourcing Solutions, a division of Morvest Group.
When asked about his vision for his new role, he told CFO South Africa:
“I aim to help them grow their business beyond the borders of South Africa. From my MTN days, I have lots of experience and contacts in Africa, and that’s the reason that they engaged with me.”
Zunaid will remain in his roles as an adjunct professor at the Wits Business School, an advisory board member to the Gauteng Division of FNB Islamic Bank, as well as an advisory board member to the Kirusa Group of Companies.
