Ajith Haripaul studied commerce at the University of KwaZulu Natal where he graduated with honours in accounting in 1992. His talent for finance was always apparent and he advanced rapidly through the professional ranks. He was appointed Financial Controller at SAB Miller. Three years later he made the jump to Finance Director at Megapro Marketing. Less than a year later he moved into a similar position at Kellogg Company where he would settle for some time before being appointed the CFO of EY Africa. He was one of the nominees for the 2018 CFO awards. He is currently the Global Controlling Transformation Leader at EY.
