Bongani Manzi studied Electromechanical Engineering at UCT for a year before realising he wanted a different career. He completed a Marketing and Business Management Diploma at Damelin, then did his B.Compt degree at the University of Transkei and completed his Honours at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is a CA (SA). He did his articles at Nkonki and then worked for the group for another 18 months before joining the Hans Merensky Group. He was appointed Finance Manager of Westfalia in July 2012 and stepped down from the position in October 2018.
