Brigitte Staley worked part time at Shoprite/Checkers’ Finance Department while completing her studies. She has a Higher Diploma in Accounting from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. After completing her studies, she started working as an Accounting Apprentice to an Entrepreneur who owned six different companies across different industries. After six years’ experience she had outgrown the role and applied for her first corporate role as Financial Accountant of Seagram Africa. She was selected to be part of the team to windup the company when the brands were sold to Pernod Ricard and Diageo. She was approached by Pernod Ricard and offered the role of Management Accountant. She was promoted to Financial Manager within two years and then promoted to Finance Director in 2011, aposition which she held until 2018. She then founded her own consulting firm and in 2020 she was appointed COO of Afrique Interlink.
