Cristina Teixeira obtained her B.Com degree from Wits University. She received her honours degree from UNISA. She did her articles at Coopers & Lybrand, which subsequently became PwC. Once she had her articles she worked as a Senior Audit Manager for five years. Cristina joined Group Five in 2002 and within six years she was CFO, becoming the youngest and first female CFO at Group Five. In 2018 Cristina resigned as Group Five's CFO. Cristina was appointed CFO of Spur Corporation in February 2021.
